Notice of Annual General Meeting
To be held at St John’s Church, Newton Road TQ13 9PF on Saturday 21st October 2023
10:30 am Coffee, tea and cakes
11.15 am Annual General Meeting
At close of business there will be two presentations: the first an introduction to the church by Richard Parker and the second by David Cook on 19th century church glass with particular reference to that in St John’s.
Lunch will then be taken independently. We will then reassemble on the bridge at 2.15pm (see maps attached) to look at the exteriors of buildings of interest in the town, following which we will walk to visit the medieval parish church of St Peter, St Paul and St Thomas (at the top of East Street TQ13 9EN) where David Cook will talk about its glass and about the Eveleigh Monument in the church.
